Funding is designed to: (1) maintain existing before and after school program funding; and (2) provide eligibility to all elementary and middle schools that submit quality applications throughout California. This is round 2 of the 2025-26 ASES Request for Applications. Eligibility Requirements Eligible Applicants: Public Agency Important Dates Application deadline The date (and time, where applicable) by which all applications must be submitted to the grantmaker. Time listed as “00:00” equates to midnight. 12/3/26 00:00 Expected award announcement The date on which the grantor expects to announce the recipient(s) of the grant. January 2026 Period of performance The length of time during which the grant money must be utilized.
