Arizona Small Business Academy

The Arizona Commerce Authority works with experienced and successful business owners to share their insights and strategies with entrepreneurs and SMBs. These courses are often out of reach and the Academy aims to provide the resources and close the knowledge gap completely free of charge. Small Business Accounting Academy The Arizona Commerce Authority’s Small Business Accounting Academy provides Arizona entrepreneurs with useful accounting practices. The series of monthly online classes supports businesses preparing for funding opportunities, builds financial management skills and complements the one-on-one accounting assistance available through SSBCI Technical Assistance. Each session includes demonstrations and time for participant questions. Participants will engage in 90-minute sessions, each following a live Q&A. Participants will engage in two-hour sessions, each featuring a live Q&A with an expert panel. Attending all three sessions is recommended to gain the most from the program. The Arizona Commerce Authority has designed the Small Business Digital Academy, a comprehensive three-week initiative to empower entrepreneurs and small business owners. Participants will learn from small business experts strategies for web, social and analytics tools to represent their business online effectively. To address this challenge, the Arizona Commerce Authority has designed the Small Business Lending Academy. This is a comprehensive six-week initiative that will help small business owners prepare for debt funding.
