Arts Capital In 2021, the Maryland General Assembly passed legislation allocating $3,000,000 per year for six years (FY24-FY29) to be distributed as capital project grants to eligible arts organizations. These funds, distributed through the Arts Capital grant, provide eligible organizations with state capital funding for projects that improve or produce a accessible arts facility. Arts Capital grants are offered to Maryland-based 501c-3 non-profit organizations with annual operating budgets below $3,000,000. Organizations must be open to the public and provide arts-based cultural education or experiences to be eligible.
