About this opportunity

The Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Anchorage Distric Office (BLM) would like to continue to support partners for the implementation of the Comprehensive Management Plan 1986 (CMP)(which is available to the public through the Alaska Resource Library and Information Services (ARLIS) website) for the trail; increase public and stewardship of the historic Iditarod Trail; engage and provide support for local other qualified parties to donate time and resources and undertake trail and maintenance projects for the National Historic Trail, the location of which is identified in the CMP, and generally includes 2,300 miles of trails between Seward and Nome, Alaska. All of these projects are identified in the interagency-adopted CMP for the trail.
