We regularly host foreign delegations and participates in trade and investment missions around the world to strengthen global awareness of Colorado. Our services include: export services and promotions foreign direct investments business expansion data analytics advanced industries accelerator grants Find incentives for expanding or relocating companies   Review the latest expansion and relocation projects GBD Programs and Funding Advanced Industries Accelerator Programs : These grants support job creation and innovation for businesses creating advanced technologies and operating in one of Colorado’s seven advanced industries. Colorado CHIPS Community Support Program : This suite of three grants provides Colorado communities funding to develop their semiconductor and advanced industry ecosystems. The three grants can be used to fund market studies, projects and programs, and marketing activities. CHIPS Zones Program : This program provides eligible semiconductor companies access to specific types of Enterprise Zone income tax credits; Colorado municipalities and counties must establish a CHIPS Zone through application to the EDC before companies can access these benefits. Export and International Programs : These programs support Colorado businesses looking to expand their reach globally. Global Business Development's 2025 Trade Shows : Every year, the Global Business Development division selects strategic trade shows to showcase Colorado’s many economic strengths that are aligned with the state’s advanced industries. The benefit of attending a trade show with OEDIT is that all booth costs and exhibitor fees are paid, and companies that participate receive a travel stipend to attend the show. Governor's Award for Excellence in Exporting : The Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting honors Colorado-based companies that have exported products or services for at least two years. Companies can nominate themselves or other Colorado companies that they find deserving. Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit : This tax credit provides a state income tax that supports country relocation and expansion projects. Trade and Investment Missions : Trade and investment missions promote foreign investment into Colorado and help Colorado companies become more globally competitive. State Trade Expansion Program Grant : The State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) Grant helps small businesses expand internationally by funding international business development activities. The purpose of this grant is to offset the cost of expanding internationally for small businesses. Strategic Fund Job Growth Incentive : The Strategic Fund Job Growth Incentive is for business expansion or relocation projects for which Colorado is in competition with at least one other state and the company has received a commitment of local government funding that matches any requested state government incentives.
