Registration Open - CDBG FY27Action Plan Kick-Off Meeting October 26, 2026 DED invites you to attend the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program’s FY2027 Action Plan Kick-Off Meeting, to be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 10 to 10:30 Register now   to receive access to this virtual meeting. Meeting attendees can expect to: Learn which HUD-funded programs are subject to the action plan. Hear the timeline of the planning process and key deadlines. Understand how and when to provide feedback during the planning process. Participate in a Q&A period about the action planning process. As required by the State’s Citizen Participation Plan, this notice is given to citizens and stakeholders that the planning process is beginning. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the State of Missouri to publish a five-year Consolidated Plan along with an annual Action Plan outlining the intended use of HUD funds. Each year, the State is required to develop an action plan that outlines how HUD-funded, State-administered programs will operate over the next year. DED is the lead agency responsible for developing this action plan. The State currently operates five HUD-funded programs across three departments and agencies that are subject to the action planning process: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), administered by the Missouri Department of Economic Development. HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), National Housing Trust Fund (HTF), and Housing Emergency Solutions Program (HESP - federally known as the Emergency Solutions Grant) administered by the Missouri Housing Development Commission . Housing of Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), administered by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services . HUD Seeking Public Comment on New Proposed Financial Reporting Rule for Grant Programs August 17, 2026 The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a proposed information collection titled “Recipient Financial Reporting for Grant Programs.” The proposal would establish enhanced financial documentation and reporting requirements for HUD grant recipients beginning with awards issued in 2025 and forward.

As a means to develop or redevelop areas identified by the port authority board of commissioners, this program establishes the Port Authority AIM Zone Fund consisting of 50% of the state withholding tax from new jobs within the zone after development or redevelopment has begun.
