Initiate an internship that will perform the following among other tasks: � Assist with a National Park Service initiative to make available spatial data about historic structures to all national park managers and to other federal land managers within the Department of Interior, as appropriate. � Convert existing List of Classified Structures spatial data into the new NPS CR Spatial Data Transfer Standards using ArcGIS 10. � Edit converted GIS data for accuracy within the data model. � Capture new historic structure line and polygon boundaries in GIS, compliant with the new NPS CR Spatial Data Transfer Standards. � Create educational materials for the engagement of youth and a variety of users about cultural landscapes and their preservation, including illustrated tours and maps. � Project graphic support for the PWR Alternative Transportation Program Manager � Assist the Chair of the PCLP Public Face Work Group in the coordination of meetings, identifying goals, and management of group projects.
