Delta Health Care Services Grant Application Window: Closed Program Application Period: Applications are typically accepted for processing from April 1, 2026 - May 31, 2026 •Regional institutions of higher education •Academic health and research institute, and/or •Economic development entities located within the Delta Region. between May and July, depending on when program funding is allocated. Each fiscal year, applications are requested through a Notice published in the Federal Register and through an announcement posted on Who may apply for this program? To apply for a grant, you must be a consortium of the following: Regional institutions of higher education Academic health and research institute, and/or Economic development entities located within the Delta Region. Individuals are not eligible for this program. How may funds be used? Grant funds must be used for the development of healthcare services, health education programs, healthcare job training programs, or the development and expansion of public health-related facilities in the Delta region. What Do I Need to Do Before I Apply? Registration at SAM.gov is required. You will be issued a UEI upon registration at What Do I Need for the Application? You will find the Notice of Funding Opportunity and details on what is needed for an application on grants.gov and using Funding Opportunity Number: RDBCP-DHCS-2026. Make sure you start putting together the required information at least a month before the application deadline, because you may need to provide letters of commitment or support from other organizations, a work plan and budget, and other information that might take you some time to assemble. You may also need to fill out required forms.
