Division of Boating and Waterways Local Assistance Statewide Ramp Repair and Modification Grant Program FY27

Purpose: Provide resources to local agencies to repair or renovate public boating access facilities. Description: The Statewide Ramp Repair and Modification Grant Program provides grant funding to public agencies to quickly restore safe and convenient public boating access by correcting public health and safety issues caused by unexpected damage due to or by extending existing boat ramps as needed due to drought conditions at DBW-funded boat launching facilities. Typical grant-funded items include repairing or replacing boat ramps, boarding floats, restroom and parking facilities for vehicles with boat trailers. Eligibility Requirements Eligible Applicants: Public Agency Public boat launching facilities that are owned/operated/maintained by local government agencies and previously funded by the Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW). Eligible Geographies: Waterways within California Important Dates Application deadline The date (and time, where applicable) by which all applications must be submitted to the grantmaker. Time listed as “00:00” equates to midnight. 2/1/27 12:00 Expected award announcement The date on which the grantor expects to announce the recipient(s) of the grant.
