Projects must benefit more than one agricultural individual. Applicants must collaborate with others to benefit the larger community. Funds cannot be used for agricultural production related expenses, including crop production and the purchase of farm other related costs, to purchase land, or for construction of a building or structure. Entities that are eligible to apply include: Agricultural businesses and cooperatives. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) networks and associations. Food councils. Economic development corporations. Local governments. Nonprofit and public benefit corporations. Producer networks or associations. Regional farmers’ market authorities. Tribal governments.
