About this opportunity

his task agreement will facilitate collaboration on natural resources management within the Redwood Creek Watershed with an emphasis on work across jurisdictional boundaries. Tasks accomplished under this task agreement will include native plant restoration, invasive plant management, wildlife monitoring, community science, project planning, vegetation mapping and associated reporting within the Redwood Creek Watershed on both State Parks and NPS lands. The intended outcome is to use the best available science to manage the Redwood Creek Watershed. By working with land management partners including California State Parks, we will maximize efficiency and streamline processes. Our management actions will result in increased biodiversity in the Redwood Creek watershed by minimizing the threat posed by invasive species among other challenges. Healthy ecosystems will allow for healthy forest regeneration and enhancement of fisheries within the Redwood Creek watershed. Actions accomplished through this task agreement will result in an improved visitor experience and wildlife viewing opportunities in this highly visited area of the park.
