GEFA intends to apply to EPA by early 2026 for the following allocated funding amounts: Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) – $124,892,000 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) – $359,487,000 Decentralized Wastewater – $8,956,000 The call for projects for the Hurricane Helene Resilience Funding will conclude Wednesday, December 31, 2025 . During the call for projects, eligible applicants should submit preliminary details concerning projects they would like to receive funding under the program. For a project to be eligible for Helene resilience funding through GEFA, it must be SRF eligible and serve the overall purpose of enhancing the resilience of drinking decentralized wastewater systems to flooding and natural disasters. All Helene Resilience Funding projects are required to complete a qualifications-based selection process for procuring architectural and engineering services regardless of project cost.
