About this opportunity
Intended Use Plans identify communities in Georgia that are requesting funding from GEFA’s Clean Water or Drinking Water State Revolving Funds. An Intended Use Plan (IUP) accompanies the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority's (GEFA) annual applications to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and identifies communities in Georgia that have requested funding from either the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) or Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). GEFA and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) solicit water and sewer systems throughout Georgia requesting water and sewer infrastructure financing needs. The communities that express interest in the SRFs are placed in the proper CWSRF or DWSRF IUP. Only projects listed in the current program IUP may receive funding.
