Overview The ADECA Surplus Property Division is responsible for managing the LESO program for the State of Alabama. The Law Enforcement Support Office Program, managed by the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), transfers needed equipment such as tactical and more to federal and state law enforcement agencies and provides the military one of several outlets for disposal of their excess property. Through this program, more than 11,000 law enforcement agencies across the country receive a variety of items helping local agencies keep their equipment overhead costs low.
