About this opportunity

Applications for the Medical Practice Initiative Breadth of Medical Practice and Disease Frequency Exposure (MPI-BMP) Program Announcement (PA) are being solicited by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, Defense Health Program (DHP). The MPI-BMP Program Announcement is issued and awarded by the Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) and managed by the Army’s Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC.) The intent and desired outcome of the research activities described in this Program Announcement are to conduct research concerning outpatient primary care physician skill degradation through testing and surveys of physicians compared with frequency of exposure to various diagnoses and presentations. The testing will be an assessment of physicians’ comfort with said conditions. The method to determine frequency of exposure must be based upon data extracted by Electronic Health Records (EHRs) that the investigators’ study group has generated.
