Nevada Main Street Nevada Main Street Nevada Main Street is a holistic approach to downtown revitalization that includes historic preservation, community economic vitality.  It supports business creation and retention to create and sustain healthy and economically vibrant communities, with a primary focus on improving quality of life for residents. The program offers community-based initiatives with a practical, adaptable framework to adjust for each unique community, growing with the community over time. Nevada Main Street has several federal partners, including Travel Nevada, the Division of Outdoor Rosen’s Office, Senator Cortez Masto’s Office, the University Center for Economic Development, the Department of Business and Nevada Arts Council, and State Parks. The state program began in 2017 and there are currently 27 active Main Street organizations in Nevada representing 32 communities.
