Free Internet access to the official edition of the Federal Register and the Code of Federal Regulations is available on GPO Access at: http://www.access.gpo.gov/nara/index.html.Purpose of Program: The purposes of the Professional Development program are: (1) To increase the number of qualified Indian individuals in professions that serve Indians; (2) to provide training to qualified Indian individuals to become aides, social workers, and ancillary educational personnel; and (3) to improve the skills of qualified Indian individuals who serve in the education field. Activities may include, but are not limited to, continuing education direct financial support. You must submit all documents electronically, including all information you typically provide on the following forms: The Application for Federal Assistance (SF 424), the Department of Education Supplemental Information for SF 424, Budget Information Programs (ED 524), and all necessary assurances and certifications. You must attach any narrative sections of your application as files in a .DOC (document), .RTF (rich text), or .PDF (Portable Document) format.
