Permit Ombudsman If you’d like help coordinating and expediting the approval of required permits within Opportunity Zones, please contact the State’s Office of the Permit Ombudsman. This Office works collaboratively with the Departments of Energy & Environmental Protection, Transportation and Public Health to streamline the permitting process. Brownfield Remediation and Development The Office of Brownfield Remediation and Development (OBRD) is a one-stop resource for brownfield redevelopment in Connecticut.
