About this opportunity

This announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously single source justified master cooperative agreement. Specifically, 1. To assist with recruitment and selection of two cultural landscape maintenance Conservation Associates to participate in the work described throughout the proposed workplan. 2. To provide for transportation to and from Petersburg National Battlefield and subsistence during the tour of duty. 3. Advise the youth participant to complete the “Public Land Corps Participant Work Hours Verification” tracking sheet provided by NPS and submit the completed and signed document to the appropriate NPS staff member. 4. Provide a cost share of 25% of the total cost of the project as the required match to NPS funds provided under this task agreement. 5. Provide an orientation prior to the start of the internship that introduces applicants to benefits/support provided by SCA. In addition, SCA provides Risk Management oversight including access for both members and supervisors to our 24 hour emergency response hotline; 6. Provide pre and post participant evaluations and records of participant accomplishments; 7. Manage and carry out administrative functions associated with the provision of services under this agreement; 8. Be available for resolution of issues related to the interns; 9. Provide supplies as outlined in the workplan.
