About this opportunity

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce is launching the SITES Ready Program, a new, game-changing business recruitment tool designed for all Oklahoma communities.  Local communities play the lead role in economic development and site selection, and this program will help local communities understand their current economic development capacity, while also learning how to expand/leverage that capacity or pivot to another strategic path. This program will also focus on how communities can expand their business landscape. The SITES Ready Program offers a unique opportunity to understand modern and relevant expectations for site/industrial park readiness, how to get your site and community ready for growth, and actual ways to build a sustainable future of jobs and investment for your community and the State of Oklahoma. The program will be heavily focused on assessing current site and community readiness. As a result, you will receive recommendations on ways to improve and market your community’s assets from InSite Site Selection Group.  This program is completely funded by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and is free to the communities. The success of this statewide program relies heavily on the active participation of each community. Your valuable contribution is key to the future economic resilience and success of the State of Oklahoma. We really hope you will choose to take advantage of this opportunity.
