Prop 4 – Randall Preserve

Purpose: Climate impact reduction and outdoor recreation opportunities at Randall Preserve. Description: The funds appropriated in this item shall be available for the Randall Preserve for work that supports the reduction of climate impacts on disadvantaged communities and vulnerable populations and the creation, protection, and expansion of outdoor recreation opportunities pursuant to Section 94020 of the Public Resources Code and shall be available for encumbrance or expenditure until June 30, 2028. Eligibility Requirements Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit Public Agency Tribal Government Eligible Geographies: Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Zone, Randall Preserve Important Dates Expected award announcement The date on which the grantor expects to announce the recipient(s) of the grant. 6/30/28 Period of performance The length of time during which the grant money must be utilized. 6/30/30 Funding Details Total estimated available funding The total projected dollar amount of the grant. $2,000,000 Expected number of awards A single grant opportunity may represent one or many awards. Some grantors may know in advance the exact number of awards to be given. Others may indicate a range.
