About this opportunity

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will support pilot studies to develop and test service strategies that optimize the independence and functioning of adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This FOA invites preliminary studies to develop adult ASD service strategies that address areas of employment and training, social relationships, physical and mental health, and independent functioning including community housing and safety, alone or in combination. The ultimate goal of this activity is to improve behavioral, functional and health outcomes in adults with ASD. In targeting adults, this FOA is focused on individuals who have completed transition out of services delivered via the child and adolescent service system and the primary education system.
