About this opportunity

The purpose of this announcement is to support PEPFAR’s public health evaluation activities in achieving high quality and timely outputs. The grantee should, where appropriate, incorporate capacity building into their activities to enhance the future implementation of research activities locally. The role of the grantee will be to provide technical assistance (TA) to the evaluations, thus implementing teams for each evaluation. The technical assistance would support the implementing partner, either by performing a task or supporting the implementing partner to be able to complete tasks themselves. In general, the technical assistance (TA) provided to the evaluation implementing teams will be varied in scope. TA could include, but is not limited to, facilitating data management, quality assurance in implementation of evaluation and adherence to multi-country standardized protocols, data analysis, special substudies, report writing. Organizations can apply as consortia or describe potential subcontracts to specialized partners to respond to all needs described in the FOA.
