About this opportunity

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the Embassy of the United States in Islamabad, Pakistan is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). PAS Islamabad invites all eligible organizations (see Section C for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for a Cooperative Agreement to coordinate all logistics and programming associated with administering a two-week exchange program for non-elite Pakistani youth enrolled in the English Access Microscholarship Program. The exchange program will be conducted in summer of 2015. The English Access Microscholarship Program provides a foundation of English language skills to talented 13-18 year olds from non-elite sectors through after-school classes and intensive learning activities. In the summer of 2015, the Embassy in Islamabad will send Access Program participants to the NASA’s Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. The students will also travel to Washington, DC.
