About this opportunity

In FY 2015, the National Accessibility Branch (AXS Branch) initiated the Targeted Accessibility Improvement Program (TAIP). The TAIP provides funds to park units to begin comprehensive physical and programmatic accessibility upgrades of specific sites within those units. Many of these units will need extensive review and technical assistance in order to plan and complete these upgrades. The TAIP will provide assistance to these parks through Interdisciplinary Teams (IDT) of experts from within and external to NPS. Once improvements to these sites are complete, the NPS will have models of accessibility of various types of environments and activities.
