Division of Boating and Waterways Clean Vessel Act Education and Outreach Grant FY 2026

Purpose: Provide education and awareness about the proper disposal of boat sewage Description: Provides education to promote public awareness about boat sewage, its proper disposal, as well as tracking and monitoring use of existing pumpouts and dump stations along California’s waterways. Eligibility Requirements Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit Public Agency Public or non-profit agencies Eligible Geographies: One grant award is available for each the Northern California Coastal/Delta Region and the Southern California Coastal Region Matching Funding Requirement: Grantees contribute 25 percent cash or in-kind match. Time listed as “00:00” equates to midnight. 8/17/26 10:00 Expected award announcement The date on which the grantor expects to announce the recipient(s) of the grant.
